just a little update..

so tired at work..don't want to work but somehow i can bring myself to blog..weird?? we painted our bedroom and bathroom. they were just so plain..plain..plain. we painted the bedroom a dark brown and the bathroom a tan. they turned out really good. still need to do some touch ups.
we also have a new addition, Scout (aka Scoutie Pants) our 5 year old Jack Russell Terrier, she is such a good dog. Not hyper, which we thought she would be. Potty trained, great cuddles, knows how to dance & smile. So nice to have her around.
went to our second doctors appointment (february 23rd), Eric got to go this time! Walked into the waiting room..after 45 minutes (eric: 'do you have to wait this long every time,gee?') we get called in to do our ultrasound. i lay on the bed and Eric plops on the chair. i say, 'you can come up here with me' he says, 'nah, I'm alright they have a big screen' we sit there and look at all the precious body parts. the nurse adds the heart beat to the ultrasound. Eric jumps up so quick and gets his face really close to the screen, 'whoa is that really the baby, that is so cool!' while he is so very close, baby goes from being face down and turns head towards Daddy and kind of waves. it was very special. i enjoyed very much to see Eric's expression. The lady who did the ultrasound said it looks like a GIRL but, she is not going to give us a for sure on that until baby is bigger and she is, for sure. Went in to talk to the doctor and he said everything was looking very good. Baby looks healthy. I feel so blessed to be hearing that. It means so much to me. I will be 4 months tomorrow. Almost half way!
